Ignore the PC and Unenlightened
Gothmog

Can all the sane people in the world please just ignore the mentally (and literary) challenged when it comes to the naming of The Two Towers? Anyone who honestly believes that a director, making movies based on The Book(s) of the Century written before the concrete was ever poured for those buildings, actually "decided" to name it The Two Towers is obviously one who will ALWAYS find something to complain about.

If we fight back with this, they will just gain the support of all the other people who are sitting on their PC fence.

Peter Jackson knew that he would get hammered by the die hard fans regarding his changes to FOTR. However, he was smart enough to please the majority of the fans while pitching a "sellable" idea to a movie studio with cash.

From this, we can only assume that he is smart enough to know that small changes didn't go over wonderfully and big changes (like changing the title) will get him drawn and quartered. He'll also be smart enough to know that the very people who are suggesting that he "decided" to name the movie something that offends them will also find something else to complain about (i.e. something ridiculous like Orthanc and the spire of Barad-dur look too much like the WTC or maybe that Saruman's beard looks too much like Osama's).
Let's just try to ignore them if possible. They'll fizzle out all by themselves.

We have to save our disdain for Arwen when she brings Aragorn the sword at Helm's Deep!
