The Two Towers Title & Denethor

Curious George, I whole-heartedly agree with you. I think that this whole Towers Title thing is a fake. It's probably just some people getting kicks. Don't get me wrong, I was deeply saddened by the 9/11 attacks, and I sympathize with all those who lost loved ones. But as everyone is saying, Tolkien wrote "The Two Towers" before the World Trade Center was even built. Anyway, I don't think movie producers & directors even regard petitions. They know what they want to do, and they are going to do it anyway, no matter how many "signatures" they get.

Also, does anyone know why Denethor is going to be in TTT? Reading the books, he doesn't show up till ROTK. Also, I've seen pictures of Merry giving his sword to Theoden, which also doesn't happen until ROTK. Any thoughts?
