Hi Farlas:
"The Big Bang has just happened, and what do we find? The Sun. The Sun is about the size of the solar system. "
Big Bang = 13+ billion years ago
Sun formed 5 billion years ago
Quite a gap between Bang and sunshine.
The sun wasnt the size of the solar system, there was a huge disc of gases that size or greater but no single star or planet etc. These gases coalesced into more solid forms as the solar system cooled (easy to see I'm no astronomer)

The earth had an atmosphere for millions of years before the first glimmers of life appeared. Single cells ruled the world for ages.
The atmosphere was toxic to the life of today, it also offered no protection from radiation from the sun.
Early waterbound life produced the atmosphere as we know it today. One we can breath and find shelter under.
The jump from single to multi cell lifeforms took millions of years... but like they say, the rest is history.
Prob 1 : Dinosaurs grooved and moved under a sky much like our own, under a sun that if hotter than now it was not by much.
Prob 2: The time of the dinosaurs in the life of the Universe was a bink of an eye ago, IF the earth was spinning faster, it was again not by much. Besides this would not cause them to go flying off. Gravity is stronger than that (also if gravity was defeated, the earth would have torn itself apart)
Simple math. 1 day = 2Hrs. Equator of Earth 24,000+miles.....
The earth spins at over 1000 MPH at the equator.
The earth also moves at approx 67,000 MPH around the Sun. The entire solar system moves at.... wellll ..damned if I know HEHEHE
Just goes to show Gravity rules!
Prob 3: What evolution timeline are you using?
Prob 4: Erm as in prob 3.
About the whole if we are evolved from apes/monkeys, why are there still monkeys monkeying about? Imagine if you will two tribes of prehistoric monkeys, one day one tribe decides to check out what food is on the ground, the other decides, nah we'll stay in the trees. The first tribe stays more and more on the ground and over millions of years adapts to its new surroundings. The second tribe continues to kickback in the trees and eat bananas.
Long story short, the monkey family split in how things should be done. Both followed two separate evolutionary paths.
You have to remember Monkeys of today are not like those prehistoric apes either, they have evolved too, just on a different path.
There are no fully evolved lifeforms. All life is continuely evolving. A million years from now only God knows what we'll look like.
Seriously Farlas, who taught/told you about the development of the Universe, life etc?? Whoever it was.... well.... hmmmm.
"And yet, in the end, all humans have the same template. Two ears, two eyes, two hands, two feet, etc."
Monkeys, by that rule of thumb, are images of humans; and so therefore by your rationale an image of God. Genesis never said made in the image, build and stance etc
"And I personally believe birth defects such as cleft pallets to club limbs are side effects of The Curse, but that they are still in the image of God."
Before I jump to assumptions... what do you mean by "The Curse"?
To guess, it could mean 1: punishment for sins in a previous life - discount because I reckon you dont believe in reincarnation (nor do I by the way)
2: Punishment for a parents/ancestors sins, visited upon the unborn.
Number 1, I dont have to answer because well I dont believe in reincarnation so that scraps the whole idea.
Number 2 is an abomination. Any God, any being, who would punish the innocent (even for the sins of others) is not worth following. Indeed they should be thwarted at all costs.
Death sentence... vengence is still God's. The death sentence can be bestowed upon a criminal but can never be carried out by man or woman. Unless of course there be one amoungst you without sin?!?!
Just checking; Do you agree we should kill all women who are found guilty of adultery?
"I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn back from their ways and live." (Ezekiel 33:11)

As for the intercession of Saints, I thank God Almightly that I saw the truth and was made aware of how thing actually are in this area. All the Saints, all of us, are part of the congregation of God. Point out if you can what is wrong with talking, just talking mind you! (no worship involved!!!) with any fellow member, living or dead, to join in praise of God and ask Him for aid in any petition?
They can hear us, as the Bible rightly shows.
God wants lots of petitioners to pray to Him for an intention.
There is no problem with this. There is no evil in it.
Farlas, mayhaps you could ponder this, and in time see its Truth.
Ohh well better head off. See you all laters :) Ash Nazg....
