Re: to all of ya
Julie
Annatar, I find your theory on evolution interesting (about tribes of apes dividing), I guess it is a possibility! I also agree with you about every creature's constant evolution. True, we continue to evolve because the earth does. But honnestly, who can tell really about our origins? We were not there afterall. Yes we did discover many things and theories keep changing. But alot remains to be discovered.
Farlas, I'm glad that my words did not anger you! Well, if like you say there is no contradictions in their writings, I guess that God truly inspired them. Afterall, the holy book teaches us to be good and fair to the others. I never doubted the goodness of the bible and the relevance of it's words. I just doubted the memory and the interpretations. And honnestly, I have problems with religions. The history of religion is filled with blood spilling, corruption and greed. I am a catholic but I kinda renounced it. I prefer to worship nature. For me God is not an entity that says :"Thou shall not do this or that", God is everything that lives, it's in everything and in everyone, that is why I think that a person is not 100% evil or good. It's just that some can be 60% good and 40% evil or 70% evil and 30% good. All that to say that...em...anyway Farlas, now I understand. Those who wrote the bible were inspired by God? That I can respect and accept. By the way, you never offended me in anyway, rest assured!
Everett, please refresh my memory, what is this common ancestor?
Happy all! I finally gave my p.o.v on the bible and religion!
Take care all!
