Mickey Mouse
Annatar

That reminds me, in college we used to add a few names to the roll - Micheal Luchóg and Donal Lacha. Harmless fun.... easily amused.

Yeah, forgot to say I was in St Patricks Cathedral NYC a few years ago. Nice enough building.

OOhh about that tax on flights, if memory serves it was not the French that stuck a tax on flights for the 3rd world it was the EU.... or at least it was proposed in the EU. Ahhh my memory is not what it was.
As for Pros and Cons of it... Just because there is a "charity" tax does not remove an individuals responsibility to give to the needy. Anyone who uses that as an excuse was never going to give in the first place; they would just make up another excuse.
Pros... the poor get a little relief.
Cons... Price of tickets go up.
As for removing responsibility for charitable donations from the citizen it does not. It is however something citizens can take pride in. A Government is of the people afterall. A government is not an entity separate from the people, it is its collective will made manifest. For good or bad.
Oh well, like I said my memory is hazy on this. I coulda swore it was voted down in any case.

Congrats to Italy for winning the World Cup. I should have put a punt on them a few weeks ago. Ah Well.
Hard luck France. Good headbutt Zidane.

Better head off :) Ash Nazg...
