And why did Henry II take Ireland? I have quite forgotten. And didn't Ireland invade England at one point?

No, there shouldn't be a limit, but I have a real problem with a government that is not my own making me pay for the poor! If I wish to help them, I certainly will, and probably more generously than their tax. but, if they tax me, that's all the less i'm going to give. Or, I won't give anything at all, thinking, "Well, it's already been taxed out of me, why bother." Why should I bother to do extra when the government is doing it for me? And, to top it all off, it's communism, which I am adamantly against. I'm the "live free or die" sort. I can't help myself.

True, no one has to take the plane, but when will it stop? Will they be happy with just the tax on plane travel? I doubt it. If there is one thing that is true of humans, it is that no matter how much power and money they get, they want more. Don't give em an inch, and you don't have to worry! Keeping freedom and democracy is an unceasing job!

What's wrong with being a world citizen? i'm not a world citizen. I'm an American! Gladly do i share the world with others, and gladly do I let other countries exist, and gladly will I help them, but as an American. My heart goes out to those who suffer and are persecuted, and I do feel sad for they that are in misery though my country calls them an enemy, but... often we are against the corrupted government, wanting to help the citizens once democracy is restored. We did that Nazi Germany, we are doing that in the Middle east. Having strong european influences, I have a real hard time liking one people over another. I mean, if I did... I'd have to hate myself cuz my relatives killed each other.

And trust me, I am not blind to my government. And as far as contacting representatives go... Mine are like talking to a brick wall!!! i'm about a heartbeat away from sending them pointed letters every day about how I deplore what decisions they are making!!!

Anyway, I hope this was coherant... i'm running a slight fever and the room wont' stop spinning.
