My mother and I know very well that the history of the Irish is a very sad one. Reminds me, last Christmas I gave her a book: "Irish, The remarkable saga of a nation and a city" from John Burrowes. Did you read it? I remeber, while she was reading it, sometimes tears would roll down her face! I almost regreted buying her that book!
