Julie, I work for FedEx Ground as a package handler on their outbound shift, trying to save up money to finish school. Most nights I'm a splitter. That is, I split packages off from the flow of packages coming down the conveyor belt and direct them to the proper trailer, though I will load the trailers on occasion as well (something I used to do pretty much every night). Occasionally, I get called in to work the inbound shift as well, where I do pretty much whatever needs to be done (generally load a couple of delivery vans).
