Casual post
Farlas

I'm not going to debate in this post, for much... if I can help myself... I'm going to try just shooting the breeze.

Anyway, I did ask my ma about the states leaving, and she said, "It is the job of the president to lead the union. He felt they hadn't proven their case for rights for seccession." Pretty much, they claimed the had a reason, but he didn't see that it was a very good one and it was not grounds to leave.

I'm just going to say, the whole EU thing is a little suspicious to me... after all, so many of the countries on your side of the pond have been enemies for centuries, and suddenly you're all friends? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And, coincidentely enough, the whole thing seems to be setting the stage for the Anti-Christ and the new roman empire and all that stuff prophesied in the OT and Revelation...

... I'm just sayin'...

And take it from someone who lives in a melting pot- if you put a bunch of nations under one banner then the cultures, languages, traditions, etc. will blend. Y'all are following our example! That's how we started... unified governments, then unified money...

But you'll never have the whole Hatfield v. McCoy thing. That's sad.

Yes, the person dying and starving in Africa is your neighbor just as well as the guy next door. And I help both if I can, and gladly. Because I want to. Sorta sucks the fun out of charity when the government makes you do it.

Oh, and do note, that when your government gives money to say, Kenya, the money never reaches the people. It goes straight into the pocket of the Kenyan government officials. It's best to give through someone that gives stuff straight to the people, not allowing their government to hand it out, because they never will.

Do I have a specific time and place I am fond of? Hehehe! The Roman Empire I've always found infinitely fascinating. My intrests always go from the Roman Empire all the way to the Reinassance (sp?). I'd love to be more specific, but I just love it all! Favorite people? Do not make me chose!

Then again, Annatar, if we were born then, we wouldn't think it so rough I don't think. It would be what we are accustomed to. If we were thrown there, I should think we would have a hard time making it.

But, I am not a stranger to more primitive living. Our family goes camping quite frequently and we are no strangers to hunting. As far as gardening goes, we would have to clear a part of our lawn, but we could do it. And we are certainly not strangers to making things from scratch. So as far as that went, I don't think I'd be too bad off. What would kill me is my mouth. I come from a long line of big mouths, and if the church didn't kill us, the government would. Hehe! We know what we think just a little too well.

Pioneer life... I wouldn't do so badly with that.

I'm rambling. Moving on.

Sadaam and Al Quaeda are linked. Don't listen to CNN! They're the Communist News Network.

And Sadaam should have been taken out when President Bush Sr. was in office, but he didn't finish the job.

Ai Elbereth! Bro is playing his flute-a-phone right in my ear! And now he's messing with my *smacks him* keyboard!

I think I failed at not debating. *sigh* Maybe one day... Yeah right.

Oh, anybody here want to admit to watching Hee-Haw? Folks convinced me to watch it... I was scared. Very scared. It was all the tackiness of the 70's and Country Music rolled into an hour of programming. Some of the music was okay, but the corny little skits... I get a lot of things most people my age don't get, and I like a lot of corny things, but that was faaaar beyond me.

Namarie! Anor calatha erin râd lîn!
