I knew it!
Farlas
I'm an elf! Whee! I knew it! Now... to grow two more inches... and get a little better with a bow... Considering I shoot one once a year, I'm not half bad! Once you figure out how to hit the target, the rest is just practice. You think it'd be easy, but it's hard! I finally learned that if you keep your arms parallel to the ground your aim will improve significantly.
Anyway, there is some magic in LotR... but it's wicked. The elven magic is more of an art form or a science. An inborn trait or skill carefully honed to the point that it looks like magic, but isn't. If you read the stuff inthe Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales you'll see that the magic rings were awefully close to the line of good and evil.
Wait, was that a slip I saw... did you really think that I wouldn't notice Annatar? Really! I knew you know elves are in the right!
I'm sure we could haul the futon into the tent for you... but not by the lake, sadly. It's the subdivisions lake, and well... that wouldn't be very fun. I could get you next to a leafy swamp though! That's in the back yard!... okay, so it's more of a soggy leaf pit... The back yard is definitely your best bet. You can even have a campfire! Provided we keep it under control and garden hose nearby. Just give us the date you're coming. We'll make sure to get marshmallows and chocolate for smores before you come. We better get some more gramcrackers too, come to think of it. oh, and I hope you don't mind spicy food... Though, I'm sure though mom would consent to making something not spicy if you can't take it.
And what does, "Slan agus Beannacht De" mean?
Oh dear, the cat fell asleep on my hand... so cute... too bad dinner is done... *flings cat off* she was purring so nicely too!
Later!
