hello all
Linni

well I'm new to this page, and should probably be at the message board right now but I came here first and only have a v. limited time on the computer and can't post on the message board so I'll just talk here. This is a cry for advice: Does anyone know if there is a 2006-2007 LOTR student planner? I've gone to school every year with one, I don't want to stop now.
About magic: I must admit I haven't looked closely at the books in a while, but my personal opinion is that there is some magic in middle earth, more in the form of power... like, the Valar and Maia have power over certain...things... As for the elves, they have a more direct connection with the Valar, so any seeming magic that they do would be facilitated (is that a word) by the Valar... am I coming through at all? somehow I'm not saying what I mean. Maybe I'll try again later.
thanks for putting up with me!
