The New Shadow
Annatar

Julia!
Congrats on the new job. What ye doing... phones???? aarghhh. Hope you enjoy it bigtime

Heres a nice Tolkien topic fer ye all...
Its the Forth Age and trouble is brewing again.
How, which, who responsible?

I know JRRT did a few pages on this idea but abandoned it because it was basically a thriller.

I figure he missed a golden chance.
My pitch, the Two Blue Wizards, both go bad, both start gathering supporters in the east. Im thinking disgruntled Elves etc etc.
These guys are not at first evil, its just their eventual all consuming lust for power twists them and their followers.
Throw in a little Gondorian civil war and we have another trilogy!

Anyone else have any other ideas on this bit??

See you all later :) Ash Nazg...
