I think Arwen was a good in FOTR but the power that she had was a little unrealistic. For those of you who think that Arwen shouldn't have been the one ride against the Nazgul, In Rivendell Gandalf said that the elves have power against the seen and the unseen so even though she wasn't as strong as Glorfindel, she would have had some power against them. I agree though that it was kind of unrealistic to put all the nine at her heels and for her to escape and defeat them that easily. It was only one of her and 9 of them, plus they all still carried the rings of power that Sauron gave them.
If that rumor that i've heard about arwen coming to helm's deep to give Narsil to Aragorn, whats up with that? He was supposed to have it when he left Rivendell. Doesn't he have it though in the rest of the FOTR? If not what sword is it that he uses the whole time?
