Shelob & Balrog w/The Ring

Forest Dweller, I shudder to think of what would happen if the Balrog got the ring. Even Sauron himself might be afraid. Could you imagine a huge, powerful beast, already with great inherent power (enough to defeat Glorfindel, and kill Gandalf) with the power of the ring added? Time to close up the LOTR and start reading Mother Goose, 'cause I'd be too scared to read any further. I'm not sure if the Balrog has intelligence or not, and he'd probably not be as powerful as Sauron, but He'd sure be a formidable presence. One comment, I think that orcs might be ahead of trolls on your evil intelligence list. I may be wrong, but simply because he was harder to kill in the movie than any orc (except maybe Lurtz) doesn't mean that he is more intelligent. Then again, maybe not.

Primula, I'm just as excited about TTT. No need to worry about being afraid of Shelob just now, (I must admit that I myself am a little arachnaphobic as well,) But I've heard that the Shelob scene is going to be pushed back into Return of the King. It should be mega cool, though, and although I was slightly disappointed that it's not going to be in The Two Towers, it gives me even more to look forward to in ROTK.
