Retraction on Balrog w/The Ring
Paul

Ok, I'm issuing a retraction on my article titled, The Balrog w/The Ring. The article wasn't posted when I submitted this one, so I don't know which one will get posted first, but I'm retracting in advance.

Richard P.'s article made me feel kinda dumb after I said that how the Balrog w/the Ring would be make Sauron shiver in Barad-dur, and me shiver while reading. Gandalf w/ the Ring would be a power "to great & terrible to imagine." But Richard P.'s article made me realize that the Balrog, although a Maia, would be too dumb to know what to do with the ring anyway, except maybe take it to Sauron. If the Balrog wanted the ring, he would have gone for Frodo like the Watcher in the Water did.

Just wanted to clear things up before they got out of hand.
