Weathertop
Brett C.

Again I find myself posting two articles, but I'll keep this one short. I've just been browsing in the image section and at the end of the locations list saw a picture labelled Weathertop, I think by New Line. It shows the hill from a distance with lighting springing up from it, pretty much as described in FOTR where Aragorn is unknowlingly watching Gandalf's confrontation with the Nazgul atop the hill. The thing is in the movie this would be out of sink since Gandalf is not shown to escape Orthanc until after Frodo is knifed.

Could anyone who has info on whether the 'fire atop the hill' scene was filmed and then deleted, and whether is might somehow appear on the special release DVD, please post it in? Thanks.

Oh, and I'm from Australia.
