Aragorn's Age and Blanchett IS Galadriel
Jamie C.

It has always been my understanding that the Numenoreans are an exceptionally long-lived branch of the human race because of their blood ties to the elves, so perhaps Aragorn is in his eighties, but he shouldn't look it. Viggo is perfect. Neither immature nor a pretty boy. He looks like he could've slept in a few ditches. Re Blanchett -- she is an incredibly beautiful woman with grace, poise, presence and a great voice -- not to mention the fact that she is one of (if not the) greatest actresses of her generation. Perhaps some would prefer a Liv-like model do the role, but I prefer an actress. There will be enough shame as the years go by for the casting of Tyler. Thank Illuvatar they didn't compound the error.
