I was recently reading an article about that whole Phantom Menace 1.1 version thing that happened a while ago. I was wondering if any of you out there are planning on editing your own version once the DVDs and VHS tapes come out? And if so what would you take out and why?

To Richard P. I think your article nicely said what I wanted to say in mine. It's cool to know that some people know what they are talking about. (Again just my opinion.) I also understand why you are an Athiest. I myself believe in God (Whatever he/she/it/everything might be).

But I personally think that MAN has used relion as an excuse to wage war. I don't believe it is the religions fault. Some men or MAN in general has that piece of them that can become corrupt. It only takes a couple of "Sauron's" (decievers) to take something like religion and twist it into a false belief. A "snare" of sorts in which to rule others or make them believe in what one person believes in.

This is interesting to me since their has been so much talk recently about how Tolkien's theme is freewill, and people governing over themselves.

One last thing I wan't to mention is this: In the Council of Elrond scene, have any of you noticed that Viggo Mortennsen has an accent when he speaks? To me it sounds like he has a Norwegian accent, but maybe it's just me. Please let me know what you think about all of this. -Red Horn-
