Samwise, I agree with you completely on the whole Arwen thing. She really shouldn't have taken Glorfindel's place saving Frodo. It just doesn't fit her character. I found that she only appears at the council of Elrond, when Frodo (I think it's Frodo) asks who she is, and again at the end of Return of the King, where she marrys Aragorn. As for the evenstar going to Aragorn at any time in the story, I can't find any place where he has it. However, she does give it to Frodo at the end of Return of the King. I wonder how and if they are going to work that bit in...
