Just a Reminder
Elbereth

There have been a lot of discussions about religion on this site, but isn't it supposed to be for Tolkien? I'm not saying that we shouldn't talk about religion if it is in some way related to Tolkien but this site was made for Tolkien fans to talk and debate about tolkien, not whose religion is right and whose isn't, etc. So lets get back to talking about tolkien and stop argueing if it was an allegory(which it isn't because Tolkien himself said it wasn't in a letter at the beginning of the Silmarillion) or not or trying to guess if tolkien based his works on stories from the bible or not. I agree with those that think that think that tolkien took principles from Christianity for his works but not with those that say it was an allegory. Anyway, we should use this web site what it was made for(discussing Tolkien) and stop debating about religion(those who want to still debate about it can go to a religion chat room if they want!) I don't care if we talk about balrogs the whole year, but please!, use the site what it was made for. Thanks for your time.
