Short Attention Span of Multitudes
Bohdan

That Bombadil did not appear is equal to Arwen's super-glossed role as well as Aragoron not declaring the rhyme, "All that is gold...". How is it equal; the attention span of the majority of the viewing public is banal and inadequate for the multileveled mythology Tolkien wove.

I would love to see seven movies where every word of dialogue is true to the seven books encompassing the 'Lord of the Rings'. Yet I must agree that 100+ hours of film would not sell to the majority of the world other than true scholars of the literary masterpiece.
