Aragorn Would Have Looked That Young

In reply to Deb's view on the age of the characters. Aragorn was actually in his late 80s when first introduced in the book. However he would have probably looked as young as he did in the film because he was of the Numenorian race, and aged very slowly, as he had elvish blood in his veins. He went on to live for a number of centuries. Frodo would probably have looked a lot older, though. Still, the artistic liscence taken with the character's apparent ages in no way diminishes the excellent first film in the triligy.
