July 16, 2002 Nasmith for the Set of Minas Tirith Dave M, I understand what you say about Tad Nasmith, stunning they may be but they dont have the feeling of either Lowe or Lee, but all I was saying was it may have been an idea to have brought him onboard when designing sets. Specifically Minas Tirith. One question as I dont have a copy of the book to hand, is the outer wall of Minas Tirith black? like Orthanc? Its just that all the painting one sees has all the walls white. Dan, Dan Staten, I was wondering if you could post the URL of that Tolkien art site? Everyone seems to be chatting about the invisability power of the ring. Invisabilty is the basic power of the ring, confered on a untrained user. Confered on the USER and all close personal items. How this basic power is used is derived from the ring's own native intelligence. To access the ring's other capabilities, one has to be trained E.g in the total dominance of others. Being able to wear the ring and be visable at the same time requires total mastery of the ring. Well thats what i think anyways. See you all later :) |
