Re: Tolkien Fans
Cathrine

I must say that it bothers me that these so called "Tolkien fans" haven't read the books, but if they haven't read the books than they aren't true Tokien fans are they? They're just people who liked the LOTR movie and now claim to be fans of Tolkien. I must admit that i had never been interested in LOTR before the movie came out. After i saw the movie though, i had to read the books. And i did. I believe that these people are missing out and it's their own fault because they're too lazy to pick up a book.

On the other hand, i think it's great that the movie has made new fans of LOTR. I'm not saying it justifies not raeding the books and acting like a LOTR pro, but these peopole are also LOTR fans and one LOTR is as good as any other.
