Ring and Invisibility
Radagast The Brown

Some have said that a bearer of the Ring cannot control the Ring's turning you invisible, or if the bearer will's it they may turn visible whilst wearing the Ring. Both are somewhat inaccurate. The book(s) clearly state that the Ring grants power to each according to his or her stature. It was told to Frodo by Lady Galadriel that if he wanted to control the Ring furthuur than just being invisible, he would have to train, to become stronger in stature, in response to why Frodo could not see where the elven rings were while he wore the One. The reason Frodo and Bilbo turned invisible when they put the Rings on is because they desired to be invisible at the situation, for example on Weathertop when Frodo wore the Ring.
