The Fate of Saruman
Tim

I'm officially confused. What happens to our buddy Saruman? We've all seen the wizard kabob.I looks much like Saruman, but is he killed in this way and in The Two Towers? I've heard that the Scouring is in and I thought perhaps Saruman is killed by a newly installed spiked wheel in the Shire, but then these rumors that the wheel was in Orthanc started circulating. If this is so, is Orlando Bloom mistaken in his recent statements where he said the Scouring is in? Or is Saruman going to be miraculously resurrected having been impaled? If anyone has any clues, please talk.
