Just in Answer
Annatar

Danny, I would like to offer you my most humble sincere appologies for my earlier post "Stirring the Hornet's nest". It was shortsighted and extremely foolish of me to try to introduce any level of lightheartedness to this forum. So to everyone and especially Danny, sorry (Me? Sarcastic? Never! ha!). Peter, I agree whole heartedly with you about the maker being benign, it was just I did not want to be drawn into a prolonged debate as to the "where's and why fors". Then in an attempt to be quick I may have cut it too short. Personnally I do not believe in Fate. It strips all responsibilty for actions, good and bad from the individual. The only person then responsible for both good and evil would be the creator, but, like I said, I do not believe in Fate. This being the case it is up to the individual to make of life what they want. Again just reiterate, my comment about Eru murdering Gollum was a lighthearted remark with a simple twist to show how an entity such as Sauron might try to paint good as bad. There is a danger 'we' could take this debate too serious. LOTR is great, awe inspiring but at the end, it is a BOOK. Let's try and keep things here friendly and light hearted. Shalom. See you later :)
