Good Book on the Subject of LotR
Christian Hobbit

My father has been a fan of the books for many year (even before I was a thought in his mind). I have just recently gotten into the books, due mostly to the release of the movie, and being the guy I am, like to read movie books, and books movies are made from. My father is a Lutheran school teacher, and uses "The Hobbit" as a novel for his class and was asked,"What does the Hobbit have anything to do with our Christian principles." Before this had happened, I found a book over the Internet enttitled "Finding God in the Lord of the RIngs." I won't tell you anything about the book, but it shows good points, and evidence that Lord of the Rings in based on Biblical stories and Theories.

Many of you may know, and many of you may not know that Tolkien was a Christian. If it was not for his faith, we would most likely not have the Lord of the RIngs, the Hobbit, and many other writings by Tolkien. We also would not have the Chronicles of Narnia, and many other writings by C.S. Lewis. For it was Tolkien, a friend to C.S. Lewis, who shared his faith with the writer.

So Christianity is the basis for many of our great books and stories, and we would not have some of our greatest treasures if it were not for the Christian religion. I personally suggest that Christians, as well as none Christians to read the book.
