Here's something I was curious about. Since the istari individually were only one fifth as powerful as Sauron, how much extra power do you think Gandalf recieved once he obtained the ring of fire? Is this what allows him to face the Lord of the Nazgul as boldly as he does during the Seige of Gondor? Also, do you think that any of the elves (or any being for that matter) could be as powerful, or more powerful than an istari with one of the 19 rings?
