You All Need More To Do!

Honestly, I always thought it was always a joke that people took a little too far but here it is for real. First, let me say that since reading the three books and seeing the movie I am a big fan of the story and of the small amount of Tolkein's work that I have read which is why I was led to this site. I wanted some information on when I could purchase the extended DVD version. However, I have now discovered that there really are people out there who take this way to seriously and need more to do. WAKE UP EVERYONE!! Yes, it is a great tale but it is FICTION and not worth sleeping through all your classes or jobs for. Did any of you ever see that skit on SNL w/ Shatner where he was at a Star Trek convention and some Trekkie asked him what the combination to the safe in episode 37(or something like that) was? Shatner looked at the guy like he really was from another planet! I'm sorry to say that I think Tolkein may do the same if he saw this message board! But, who am I to judge.....my message is simply to get your priorities in order and LIVE LIFE, the REAL one!
