Legolas' Knives
Toojax

In answer to Greenstar you do see the knives in the movie.

First time when fighting the Cave Troll Legolas, floors 2 Orcs in quick succession with short blades, admittedly blurred but they are there.

Second time, the scene at the lake side you when Aragorn is briefing Legolas and Gimili on the pursuit of Pippin and Merry after they being taken by the Orcs. Legolas' back is turned to the Camera and you clearly see clearly see on long white handled 2 knives in Legolas' arrow holder.

What I would also like to know has anyone else noticed the Trolls that have been turned to stone.

This is truely a fantastic film, great pacing good script, even though there is no Tom. Nail on the head casting, brilliant score.

My only grumble and really does needle every time I see it, is when we see Sauron at the begining, not the bit where hes playing golf with with men and elves, thats goo. No the bit where we glimpse Sauron inside close up of his helmet and then a full shot with flame, it looks really shit, about as threating as a villian from Flash Gordon, or from a bad Italian Science Fiction movie.

Comments anyone?
