Re: Disappointing VHS
Jimeous

Granted the VHS version is small, but thats the norm with VHS versions since the popularity of DVDs.

New Line aren't alone in doing only the basic movie with no extra from DVDs.

FoTR's is a 3 hour video, it stretches the limits on most video recorders which are ideally suited to playing 3 Hour tapes. The point is, DVD players are cheap enough now, why not get one because the future of VHS is looking grim.

As for 2 versions, New Line can do what they please, as can customers, no-one is forcing you to buy both versions. We should be lucky we don't have to wait 3 years for an extended version of the movie. I'm sure that PJ wouldn't mind having less of a workload.

Instead of moaning about your choices, why not begin to appreciate that we're given them :p
