Complaints About the Film(s)...

I wouldn't say I was irate about this, but I was certainly dissapointed with the way Gollum looked in the preview for TTT. He looked pretty scary in Fellowship, with just his eyes lurking behind that small opening, and with his expressions of crazed alertness... But seeing him crawl down that cliff toward the hobbits didn't give me the same sense of creepiness. I hope they make him look just as good (if not better) in TTT, because based on what I've seen so far I'm not impressed.

Also what's up with the scene with Eowyn and Aragorn fighting? Does she attack him because she doesn't get her way with him? It was pretty lame how they sped up the camera as she rounded her blade up to meet Aragorn's neck. Personally I'd rather see Arwen at Helms deep than Eowyn and Aragorn sparring for pleasure (flirting). Perhaps they should have a scene with Arwen and Eowyn fighting. Well, actually I take that back. Arwen would die within seconds...

There is also a scene with Eowyn and an Orc creeping up on her at an oposite wall. As I recall she doesn't see Orc action until the Siege of Gondor, which shouldn't happen until ROTK.
