Sauron's Invisibility

In response to the article about the fact that Sauron should have been invisible, Sauron had complete control over the ring. When he entered the battle, he didn't fear any of the free peoples; he didn't want to be invisible. In his mind, he didn't need to be invisible. Rather, he wanted to intimidate them by his terrible form.
