| TolkienMovies.com The Two Towers Creatures and Photo Guide Both guides are fantastic, packed with lots of great photos from The Two Towers, some being potential spoilers for scenes in the movie. For example, the Photo Guide includes a detailed shot of Treebeard and the Creatures book, while not showing an actual photo of Shelob, does hint at what her lair may look like in The Return of the King. The Creatures guide focuses mainly on photos and descriptions of the baddies in The Two Towers, including the Orcs, the Uruk-hai, the Balrog, the Warg Riders, etc. Also included is a large, fold-out poster of Gandalf battling the Balrog. The Photo Guide, on the other hand, presents more general material, which photos and details about the Riders of Rohan, Treebeard and the Ents, Saruman and his Uruk-hai, the Three Hunters (Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli), Eowyn, Eomer, Theoden, Wormtongue, Faramir, etc. Also included are free photo stickers of Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, and other key characters. Both books are filled with lots of great material and would make great Christmas gifts for any Tolkien fan. Have a relative who isn't interested in LotR? Give them the Photo Guide to pique their interest. Have a friend who is going nuts waiting for December 18th to arrive? Give him the Creatures guide to whet his appetite.
