In other news, several new coins have been filtering into the Shire of late... a large copper "Axe of Durin" coin with the rather dour portrait of the scion of the Dwarvish race on obverse and his double bitted axe on reverse. Also, there is a new and rather lovely silver dram from Rohan with a running horse on obverse. These can be found through the coinage page at http://www.shirepost.Coinage.html or directly in the online store at http://store.shirepost.com by looking in the "oddball coins" section. All the usual things are still there, though some prices have been reduced for the Yuletide season, and some coins (particularly the 1402 penny) are now in short supply as mint-fresh uncirculated... but we still have quite a few circulated pieces about. Some things not in the store.... I have some nice little wooden boxes and some printed canvas Shire Mint bags for the pupose of putting together hoards and treasures as gifts. Let me know if you'd like me to assemble a small trove for that someone special on your list. Some items are in short supply, and you'll notice that many are priced above exchange value... but if you can give me a dollar amount and I can choose from among the circulated pieces those that are most available...
