Interview With NZ Ambassador About LotR
Robert

I conducted a very interesting interview a few days ago with the ambassador of New Zealand in Italy, Peter Bennett. We chatted about the importance of the LOTR movies to increase the popularity of this great country and how it changed the local cinematographic industry. Bennett had the chance to visit the Weta offices a year ago and he talks about this experience.

Moreover, he introduced many events that the New Zealand Embassy is preparing with the Italian Tolkien Society Foreign Events Organiser Oronzo Cilli. Bennett will join the great Tolkien event which will occur in Trani next month (July 10-13). Last, but absolutely not least, the Italian Tolkien Society and the NZ embassy are trying to bring to Italy the LOTR exhibition which was hosted in Wellington at Te Papa Museum. Exciting news for Italian fans!
