John Howe at Hobbiton
Robert

John Howe will be the special guest of the 10th edition of Hobbiton (which will occur between 5th and 7th of september in Udine, in the north of Italy), the most important event organised every year by the Italian Tolkien Society.

Howe will be honoured for his work in the movie trilogy as a conceptual designer and a special panel will focus on his collaboration with Peter Jackson, while the people involved in the italian version of the movies (Francesco Vairano - who directed the dubbing and partecipated as the voice of Gollum -, Pino Insegno - Aragorn - and Davide Perino - Frodo) will receive a special prize for their great performances.

Two members of the English Tolkien Society, Pat and Trevor Reynolds, will meet the audience to describe their activities, as well as other Italian Tolkien experts.

Moreover, the audience will be able to see stage performances, music concerts, fireworks shows and much, much more.
We hope it will result as an unmissable event for all the italian fans attending and, why not, european ones as well.
