Web Site Outage
Matthew

You all must be wondering why the site has been down for the past couple of days. Basically, the company that hosts TolkienMovies.com had an outage and our mySQL database was lost. I keep weekly backups, however, the last backup I had made was on July 19th, so all of the news and debate articles since then have been lost. It's devastating to me personally that the hosting company couldn't help in restoring their own backups of this data, but there isn't much I can do about that. Finding good, reliable hosting is very difficult.

In any case, we're back up and functional again. If you registered for an account in our debate section after July 19th, you will need to register again. Also, if you submitted any articles since that date, they will need to be submitted again. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for hanging in there.
