| TolkienMovies.com Reporting From Montgomery I also wanted to let everyone know that, as you may have gathered from the title of this message, we are in Montgomery now. We rolled in yesterday evening, actually, around 1:00 in the morning. Some folks who e-mailed me said they wanted to come... I apologize for not being able to come through with the organization of a caravan, but we thought the situation in Alabama was moving too rapidly to let too much time pass before coming ourselves, and so we just decided to hit the road ourselves. If you were thinking of coming down before, then do it! There were probably around 2000 people gathered at the Supreme Court building today, and hopefully there will be even more tomorrow. It's exciting to watch history unfolding this way. Thanks again for the supportive e-mails that I received. If you haven't heard, the governor of Mississippi wants the monument placed in his capital building for 10 days. The word around here is that several other governors want to do the same thing. Those who wanted to take God and His law out of our lives made a grave mistake picking Montgomery as the place to start! |
