Good News: The Ads Are Coming Down Soon!
Matthew

I'm very happy to announce to the loyal visitors of this site that starting on September 24th, there will no longer be any 468x60 top banner ads or pop-ups on the main TolkienMovies.com pages. Due to the support of some loyal Tolkien sellers, I have been able to withdraw my site from the advertising network that it was formerly a part of. I can now operate off of the income generated by advertisers like Spiderwebart and MacQueen Pipes.

Part of the reason for my withdrawal was probably something that some of my visitors feel as well. We can all agree on the stupidity of ads for sites such as Cupid.com and similar web sites. I also was very aggravated to discover ads for Dungeons & Dragons circulating on my site. Aside from being a very poor perversion (some might even say a rip-off) of Tolkien's works, D&D also has many Satanic overtones to it, in many cases portraying evil as good and "cool." That's another reason why I want these ads removed from my site.

I don't know about you all, but I'm very excited about offering visitors the opportunity to visit a top-notch Lord of the Rings movie news web site without being distracted by annoying ads. I hope you all will enjoy the freedom! Thanks for continuing to visit. This site truly could not exist without you.
