Embassy Theatre Seats
Amanda

Some world famous bottoms are going to be filling the new seats at the fully restored Embassy Theatre on December 1 for Peter Jackson’s World Premiere of the third and final Lord of the Rings.

The non-profit Embassy Theatre Trust, which owns the theatre on behalf of all Wellingtonians, is offering you the chance to put your name on a seat and become part of the Absolutely Positively Wellington support network.

Saatchi & Saatchi and the Dominion Post have led the way with a series of advertisements that has prompted hundreds of people to come forward and show their support.

Some wanted their company names, their own names, their children’s names, or in memory of a loved one, they have named their seats for 10 years.

Now we’ve only got 120 gold seats left at a cost of $650(NZL) including GST.

In addition to the 10 year naming right, you will get your name on a Roll of Honour in the foyer for 10 years and have the option to attend special functions and premieres the Embassy is, and will increasingly become, famous for.

It could be Liv Tyler, Elijah Wood and his hobbit mates or Gandalf himself who will be ushered into a seat with your name on it.

The perfect corporate gift, birthday or Christmas present that will enable you and your friends to be part of the hype and fun before the stars arrive when the refurbished theatre is opened for the first time…and after they leave town.
