Re: The Grey Havens

To Colles A. Now you come to the part where you will realize much of Tolkien's magic and why he is considered by many the greatest author of all time. For the long epic of the ring is over, but there is much more to know and discover. In the end "The Lord of the Rings" is just a footnote in the world of Middle Earth. There is a history that led up to Gandalf coming to Bilbo's door that one momentous day, and a history beyond that. Might I suggest reading the appendix of "The Return of the King" and also "The Silmarillion". And if you do a little more research you will find many other stories that will fill you with wonder and keep you enthralled for years to come.
