In Reference to the Scouring of the Shire
Deekay

Is it really true that PJ is leaving that out?
Personally I find that disappointing and it WOULD fit in the movie (at least, in my opinion anyway).
I know that film and book are two seperate things and film cannot possibly have everything in it that the book has but I think that Peter Jackson has made a big mistake in leaving that out (if it is true) because I think it is a very signififcant
part of the story. Fair enough if PJ has his reasons for leaving it out because I think he is a brilliant director and deserves to be right at the top and I am sure he knew what he was doing.
Still, to me I think it`s a bit of a disappointment.
