Great Fish, about the only thing on the map of Beleriand that you will find on th LOTR appendices maps are the Blue Mountains either side of the Gulf of Lune. This is because in the War of Wrath Beleriand mostly sank beneath the ocean - Ulmo could probably show you exactly where - and it was at this time the Gulf of Lune roared in through a chasm rent through the mountian peaks. All that remained above water ws the country of Lindon, west of the Blue Mountains, where Gil-galad had his abode. The Iron Mountains were likewise destoryed in this calamity, and have no relationship with the Iron Hills east of Dale and Esgaroth.
