Stop the presses! Hell has frozen over! Squadrons of pigs are soaring through the skies!! Annatar and I actually agree on something!!!! I think.

There are certainly plenty of dark moments in "The Hobbit" for Peter Jackson to play up, and I have no problem with this as long as the darker parts of the movie do not come to dominate the tone the way they do in LotR. Also if Peter Jackson goes for a Phantom Menace-type movie, he should be drawn and quatered.
