Balrogs and Hurin

Wings - To have or to have not.
To my mind there is no proof either way, although I do tend towards the have camp.

A better question, if I my be so bold, is can they fly?
To my mind, no. They were like big demonic chickens.
Wings, could flap and slow down a decent somewhat, but nope flightless.

Glorfindel's Balrog was destroyed because of the drop, the wings can slow you down but not that much.

The Children Of Hurin is a good bit different to Unfinished Tales.... if my memory is good - its been a while.
Definitely worth a few shekels
