Hi Farlas,
I take it you have read the Silmarillion/Unfinished Tales? The Children of Hurin is more in keeping with that style of narrative than LOTRs/The Hobbit.

Oh and its a really reaallllllyy happy tale, full of sunshine and daisies and lollypops.....
