According to IMDB, "The Hobbit" isn't scheduled for release until the end of 2011. When it comes out, it will have been eight years since RotK hit theaters. It's too bad they couldn't have gotten moving on this once it became obvious FotR was a hit and that the next two movies would be as well. On the plus side, it gives us plenty of time to discuss and debate everything from movie rumors to the books to whatever else comes up in the course of conversation.

Anyone up for rehashing the winged Balrog question for the umpteenth time?
