I've taken a look at the LOTR beta site as well. The text was about Peter Jackson, the general story, and the sets. I'm not sure, though.

I also found this screen capture from the beta site over at Cirdan's somewhere. I'm currently trying to make out the text. Zooming in and sharpening might help. I'll let you know if I can make something out.

From what I can make out, the article is headed "The Story of J.R.R. Tolkien Brought to Life." It appears to be a press release, as I can make out the words "Press Release" directly below the header. -- MATTHEW
